Determined

Landon is becoming so funny to watch on the mat or blanket when he is on the floor.  If you put a toy right by him, he will squirm and wiggle in any direction to try and get it.  He can even kinda get up on his knees like the beginning signs of crawling.  But he doesn't lift the top part of his body, he just buries his face in the mat when he does that.  Silly boy :)

Sloucher

This is the position Landon wiggles into when I put him in his swing.  Don't worry, I don't leave him there, I am standing right next to him.  He is just such a wiggle worm and can't stay still for 2 seconds.  I am thinking our swing days are numbered.....

Chunky Boy

Look a this chunky monkey in his diaper from this past weekend.  Does he not look so old?  I do not think he looks like he is only 5 and a half months old.  He is huge!

Very talented

So Landon has been trying and trying to put his own pacifier back in his mouth when it falls out (or when he pulls it out).  Usually he can get it back up to his mouth, and even sometimes get it angled right, but he doesn't know to let go so he just keeps holding onto it when it's in his mouth.  Well this time he put it in upside down and just sucked on it that way.  It would start to fall out every few seconds but he managed to keep it in somehow.  What a goofball :)

Cozy boy

It was a little cooler last week so I bundled Landon up when we went for a walk.  He loved having the blanket all snuggled up next to his face.  I do wish we had slightly cooler weather sometimes because we can never really use blankets and snuggle up because it's too hot!  Haha hopefully the next few months will bring some cooler weather.  Here is Landon sleeping like a..... well, baby :) (And then after he woke up)

Here are some pictures from last Saturday.  Landon is obviously the reason we won, look at those cute little (guess I shouldn't say "little") thighs! :)

2nd solid foods...

We tried peas...barf.  Me, not Landon.  I tried them and the taste and smell made me want to vomit.  Ugh!  I'm not a big peas fan anyways, but baby food peas is even worse.  I sucked it up and made funny faces and "Mmm yummy" sounds but it was gross.  Luckily for me, our child is a human garbage disposal and will eat anything!  So naturally he loved them!
